After 3 generations of woodworking in Poland, we started Wood Street in 2011 when we moved to England and fell in love its country-house culture of Black-Labs and Land Drovers. To this day we have completed 50+ made-to-measure heritage kitchens, combining the internationally renown skillset of Polish woodworking, with Poland’s economical labour and our love of the English Country House style. As a multi-generational family of woodworkers and craftsmen, we started Wood Street back in 2011, merging the expertise, patience and economical craftsmanship of our Polish woodworkers with Britain’s country-life aesthetic we fell in love with when we moved here.
I’m afraid our projects take time. And we don’t do call centers or middlemen – each client is treated on a personal one-to-one basis, updated weekly through direct WhatsApp messages and calls.
No corporate jargon. We are a tight-knit family of craftsmen, led by founders Dawid and Kamilla.
Our kitchens are crafted in our workshop following decades of tradition and attention to detail not found in the mass market.
We dont sell pre-made collections. Every one of our kitchen creations is unique to your home and our design expertise.
As taught by our forefathers, we never compromise on the quality of our kitchens or accept a project that would spoil our reputation for craftmanship.
Every detail, from your choice of materials, to the hand-cut inlays and dovetail joints, to the hand-rubbed oil finishes and beaded moulding that give our project their superior build, is completed patiently over numerous weeks and months.

Step 1: Design consultation
Before we get started on your kitchen, we’ll schedule an in-person or over the phone design consultation where we’ll measure your space and design a 2D blueprint of your desired kitchen (or other bespoke room/creation).
Here, we’ll offer recommendations of the finest materials, English-era design styles, and ‘easter-egg’ features like hidden doors and built-in trays that our clients love. We don’t hesitate to make changes, working tirelessly until you’ve settled with your design.
Step 2: we patiently craft your project
Once you’re in love with your design and have agreed to move forward, we’ll gather the exact resources and begin work on your project.
Please note, quality doesn’t come quickly. Rolex and Rolls Royce have a waiting list for a reason. Likewise, our bespoke projects take time as we carefully cut materials and craft your project with precision.
Step 3: we fit out your project
Once the components are ready, we’ll carefully drive to your home or location with our in-house team and fit-out your kitchen as scheduled – usually within one day. We will never include extra, or hidden delivery costs.
If necessary, we can rip out the old build. Here you’ll meet the team who were with you from the beginning and your kitchen should be ready for use by the evening.

From your initial design consultation to the moment you agree to a project and finally have it fitted in your home by our team, our designer and co-founder Kamila will be your dedicated design partner, keeping you updated in person and on WhatsApp each week.
She’ll ensure your project is scheduled in advance and you can see how it looks before it’s made (with 2D concepts), as well as while it’s being made, as we send you photos of your project in and after production. All coordination goes through her, ensuring quality at all levels.
